Dear Sellers,

Summer's on its last stretch which means many of you are in for an exciting season as students gear up for September classes. While textbook season can most certainly be fruitful, it can also be chaotic. There are many things to consider as you head toward a busy textbook season. Are you selling on the best marketplaces for your inventory? Does your inventory comply with marketplace policy? Are you competitively priced?

It's time to prepare for the year's hottest season! As books fly off the shelves, one of the biggest challenges presented by a busy textbook season is the increased risk of double sales. FillZ aims to minimize double sales as much as possible, but we can't eliminate them completely. It takes time to download orders, export deletes, and allow the marketplaces to process the changes - especially when sales are happening at a much higher rate than usual.

Did you know there are easy ways to reduce overselling? Something as simple to use as a filter script can help limit double sales on your popular items! We've come up with some valuable pointers to help textbook sellers have a successful season. We encourage you to check out our Textbooks Help Page for suggestions and ideas. As always, let us know if you have any questions!

Please note that FillZ will be limiting the release of any new features or other adjustments to the system that could hinder our performance over textbook season. We will be focusing on maintaining excellent system stability and ensuring textbook season goes smoothly for all.

We'd like to mention what a pleasure it was to meet and speak with those of you who attended the Independent Sellers' Conference in Seattle, WA at the beginning of July. If we missed you this year, we certainly hope to see you there next year!

Marketplace News

A1Books - The A1Marketplace has made some exciting new changes just in time for textbook season. Sellers can now dictate their own shipping charges for domestic, international and expedited shipping. Want to offer free shipping? Now you can! In addition, A1Books is offering an improved help section, support team, and IT department. The best part? Pocket friendly fees! A1Books is now charging a flat 10% off both the price of the item as well as the shipping. Great news for FillZ users - they're waiving the monthly $25 FTP for ALL sellers who require FTP access.

New Features

Need Help? - We've improved access to the ever-growing FillZ Informational Wiki! You'll now find a Help? link at the top right-hand corner on every page of your FillZ account.

Reporting Manually Added Orders - If you're creating orders for your Custom Marketplace or for your Brick and Mortar Store, the dollar amounts of manually added orders are now calculated and recorded in sales reports. Click here for instructions on how to create an order.

New Seller Corner

Have a buyer inquiry and need to find their order?

Whether an order is in New, In Process, Shipped, Deferred, or Cancelled status, you can search for it by ISBN/UPC/ASIN, SKU, Title, FillZ Order Number, or Marketplace Order Number using the Orders section of your FillZ account.

Simply fill in your search criteria in the box beside "Search by Item / SKU" or "Search by Order# / Customer" and then click the button.

Since this information isn't always handy, you can also search by the buyer's address, email, or name.

FillZ rewards clients who refer our business to their friends and associates. Here's how it works:
