Hello from FillZ!
So it's getting to be that time of year again: the days are getting longer and warmer, the kids are almost out of school, sales start to slow a bit and summer vacation is on everyone's mind. Even though you want to kick back and relax, now is the time to start thinking ahead to the upcoming Textbook season.
To help you get started, we have collaborated with Chrislands, eCampus, TextbooksRus and TextbookX to bring you some very special offers* for the Fall season:

25% off your start-up cost before June 30

14% commission for the entire month of September**

12% commission from now until September 30**
Logo branding feature free for 60 days
*Sellers already registered on these markets prior to receiving this email are not eligible for this promotion.
**Normal commission rate of 15% begins October 1, 2008.
Amazon published a great top-selling textbook list recently. Check out the list to see if you have these items in stock. Click here.
Finally, we'd like to tell you about a few changes around the FillZ office. We're very proud to introduce Mike Slywka to the FillZ Team as Systems Administrator. Mike graduated from the University of Calgary with a BSc in Computer Science and comes to us with nine years of Sys. Admin. experience. He started with FillZ in the middle of May and has already made some great contributions to the Team. Welcome Mike!
I'm also sad to announce that this is my last day at FillZ. It has been a great pleasure working with all of you over the last two years. It was really exciting to be part of FillZ and to watch it grow from a two-person operation with clients primarily located in North America to a company with 10 employees, tons of new features and growing international exposure. If I'm ever shopping for media online, I know exactly where to go to get the best service, from the best people ;)
I wish you all much success, happiness and good health for the future.
Happy Selling!
Aleksa H.

| Book Expo Report |
This year Shaun Jamieson attended BEA on behalf of FillZ and here's what he had to say:
"I had the opportunity to meet with several current and potential customers. It was great to meet long-time FillZ sellers like Jay Davies. Clients like Jay are what our business is built on and I really enjoyed meeting him in person.
The main topics of BEA this year were 'green' initiatives for publishers, Google book search, and the Amazon Kindle.
Overall, green initiatives are front and center in more and more people's minds and it's great to see such a large transformation taking place within the book world.
As for Google book search, a year ago publishers were apprehensive, but this year a panel of publishers participating in the program whole-heartedly gave their support for the program. For more information about GBS, click here.
The Amazon Kindle has created a stir in the book world over the last several months. At BEA, Jeff Bezos had a live and unscripted discussion with Chris Anderson, author of The Long Tail, about Amazon and the future of the Kindle. Currently, Amazon has 125,000 titles in Kindle format, representing 6% of the total sales for those books. Click here to read an interesting analysis of ebook sales for both Sony and Amazon."
Stay tuned for next month's report on eBay Live!!!
